(GARDEN RIVER FIRST NATION, ON)  –  Anishinabek Police Service (APS) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects wanted in relation to a break / enter and robbery that occurred on the Garden River First Nation.
On Sunday March 1, 2015 at approximately 12:30 a.m. two unknown males entered the residence in the 100 block of Sweetgrass St. on the Garden River First Nation.  The victim was home at the time.
The victim was assaulted resulting in non-life threatening injuries.  The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance.
Suspect number one is described as male, dark skin, early 20’s, 5’10”, tall, with a medium build.  He was wearing a three quarter length light grey jacket with thick red stripes, a grey hoodie and a black mask covering the lower portion of his face and white ankle high running shoes.
Suspect number two is described as male, dark skin, early 20’s, 5’7″,  thin build   wearing a  grey hoodie, a black mask covering the lower portion of his face along with blue jeans and old running shoes.
A unique military style medal was stolen along with two specialty cooking knives.
