AlgomaUniversityA unique workshop will be taking place at Algoma University’s Shingwauk Auditorium.  The university and the Anishinaabe Initiatives Division are putting on the Indigenous Academic Writing Workshop with Indigenous author Lee Maracle. The event runs Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. The workshop offers Indigenous research methods and academic writing in an interactive format.  In addition to being an instructor at the University of Toronto, she is a member of the Sto:  Loh Nation and the writing instructor for the Banff Centre of the Arts.  Maracle is also a co-editor of numerous anthologies and has published in scholarly journals worldwide.
