Enhanced cycling infrastructure is planned for the section of the Trans Canada between Sault Ste Marie and Espanola as part of a new provincial initiative that has committed $25 over three years.  15 million of that will go to four highway sections – including Highway 6 on Manitoulin Island.   Another 10 million will be used towards municipal cycling infrastructure projects.
