Update to Problem for Shaw Subscribers & the Emergency 911 System

 

Shaw Cable is continuing to work on this problem.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would like to advise the public that 911 calls can be placed from a cell phone or phone system other than Shaw.

In addition, locally direct dial calls can be made to the following emergency services

Sault Ste. Marie Police Service  705-949-6300

Sault Ste. Marie Fire Services  705-949-3333

Sault Ste. Marie Ambulance Service  705-256-5621

Calling any of these numbers will take you directly to dispatchers for each of these emergency services.

The public will be advised when the issues are corrected.
