Celebrate Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1st, taking part in the 4th Annual John Rowswell Hub Trail Festival. This is a free, family event that encourages everyone to Walk, Ride or Roll your way along the Hub Trail from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Discover the Hub Trail and reap the benefits – make it work for you. Everyone is welcome from hikers and cyclers to skaters and wheelers. Start at any one of fourteen passport stations by asking for a passport. At each station you will receive a stamp on your passport for the section of trail you’ve completed. You can go to one station or visit them all. Keep your eyes open for fun activities, great give-a-ways and more. Return your completed passport to the “Jumpstart Bicycle Rodeo” station located under the Farmer’s Market Tent at the Roberta Bondar Pavilion anytime between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to enter prize draws.

Participants who complete all fourteen passport stations can enter into a draw for the grand prize, an Electra Townie sponsored by Velorution and Back In Motion Physiotherapy.

Participants who visit at least one passport station can enter for a chance to win a variety of draw prized, but are not eligible for the Grand Prize (You must be present to claim your draw prize).

The Hub Trail Festival is delighted to welcome back the Children’s “Jumpstart “ Bicycle Rodeo. This is a passport station as well as an activity area for children ages 2 to 12. Children can demonstrate their riding skills in an obstacle course to test balance and proficiency. Children who take part in the Bicycle Rodeo will have a chance to win a bicycle courtesy of Jumpstart.
