BudgetSavings2The Sault Ste. Marie Armoury was the latest site to receive money from the Harper government.  It was announced on Tuesday that six million dollars will be spent on several improvements to the armoury on Pine Street.  The work will range from pavement work and painting to installing a new ventilation system and repairs to lighting and the armoury roof. It’s expected to take two years for the work to be completed.  The Pine Street Armoury is home to a reserve force unit of the Canadian Army’s 33rd Canadian Brigade Group.
