A major infusion of cash from the senior levels of government is reportedly coming Essar Steel Algoma’s way.   MPP David Orazietti and MP Bryan Hayes are expected to be joined by cabinet colleagues in announcing a $60 million package … 30 million in grant funding and 30 million in a repayable loan, towards the company’s $240 million modernization plan – to be carried out over five years.   The announcement is scheduled for late this morning.
