2014 Orazietti cropIt’s aimed at making applying for an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant simpler.  A new ‘investment strategy’ was announced this week by Sault MPP David Orazietti.  The strategy will help grant recipients to better reflect a grant’s impact through measured outcomes.  Examples of new ‘action areas’ created by the strategy are:

— Active People

— Connected People

— Green People

— Inspired People

— Promising Young People

— Prosperous People

The four new Investment streams are:

— See Grants (for new ideas)

— Grow Grants (for building on the success of a proven model)

— Capital Grants (for improving community space)

— Collective Impact Grants (which will help bring about fundamental change with collective action)

Applications for Grow Grants are due on August 26th, while Seed and Capital Grants are due on September 2nd.  Learn more online at www.otf.ca.
