Jeffrey Fleming of the Sault has been fined $500 for failing to extinguish a fire that spred to a nearby forest last August, west of Wawa.  He pleaded guilty to failiing to properly extinguish a brush pile he was burning.  He was also ordered to pay the MNR $2200 towards their costs of putting out the fire.
