An elderly man entering the rear door of his apartment in the 200 block of Albert East around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, was attacked by an unknown female – who made off with his wallet – but not before leaving her sandals behind in the scuffle.    She’s described as white, about 5 foot 9, in her 20s, slim build – wearing dark pants and a dark hat.    The victim suffered minor arm injuries. City Police picked up a couple male suspects overnight regarding outstanding warrants … 24 year old Jody Edwards who was wanted for shoplifting at Station Mall in breach of his probation … and 30 year old Chico Rubiano of Ferguson Avenue whose accused of breaking in and ransacking a house on Shannon Road this month and stealing several items.
