Abit of light rain overnight … might freshen the flowers abit … but not likely enough to ease the fire hazard in the region … with eight new fires confirmed yesterday afternoon … bringing to twelve the number burning in the northeast … the majority in the Sudbury and North Bay districts.   The fire hazard remains extreme along the north shore of Lake Huron. The out-of-province deployment of Ontario fire fighters is over for now although equipment is still on loan out west.
