OLGAbout 400 employees with Ontario Lottery and Gaming are about to become members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada.  The decision was announced by the Ontario Labour Relations Board back on Friday.  The union is asking for the workers to be certified on an interim basis after a vote of more than 50 percent in favour of being unionized.  Some exceptions to being unionized include:

— supervisors and people above that rank

— executive assistants

— all people employed in Human Resources

— security officers and gaming project consultants

— I-D-S operations shift lead

— I-T information security

— senior trainer and supervisor administration

— administrative assistants, students, audit services and enterprise risk management.
