A big contract for Essar Steel Algoma – to supply structural steel bridge plates for the new Champlain Bridge, spanning the St Lawrence River between Montreal and the South Shore.  It represents 20% of the project’s total steel requirement.   No dollar value was placed on the deal in the company release.
