Algoma Central has announced an agreement for the construction of three 740 foot Seaway Max self unloading bulk freighters to add to it’s Great Lakes dry-bulk fleet.  The contract is with a Croatian shipyard – replacing a Chinese order that was cancelled earlier this year.   The new ships are expected to start arriving in early 2018.
