(Sault Ste. Marie, ON) The Friends of the Ermatinger•Clergue National Historic Site and Canadian Heritage are proud to present Fall Rendezvous Heritage Celebration of the local community between 1812 – 1867” from September 30 – October 3, 2015 at the Ermatinger•Clergue National Historic Site. The event runs daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 800 Bay Street.
The Fall Rendezvous is a living history event commemorating the contribution of early residents to the forming of our city, province and country. Visitors to the 1812 Fall Rendezvous will be greeted by historical re-enactors who will set the scene for a memorable experience.
This four-day heritage event features hands-on activities, entertainment, games, and demonstrations. Cannon, Candy Cannon and musket drills, voyageur and Coureur de Bois encampments, and evening Ghost Walks.
Families are invited to come out and celebrate Fall Rendezvous and the harvesting of our pumpkins on the October 2 PD school day this coming Friday. Special activities and workshops will be offered.
New this year is our Evening Spirit Walks happening October 2 & 3. Reservations are required.
