Sex usually makes people happy, but a new study reveals many women don’t always feel so great afterwards. A poll of 230 sexually active, U.K. women finds that 46 percent said they’d experienced post-sex blues at least once in their lifetime, and five percent said they’d had the feelings in the last four weeks. There was no connection found between the level of intimacy between sexual partners and the prevalence of post-sexual blues. Symptoms can include crying, melancholy, depression, anxiety, agitation or aggression after sex. Emotionally reactive women were found to be more prone to the condition, but other research has suggested it may have a genetic component as well. Some doctors report the symptoms can last for up to four hours after sex. (Daily Mail) (Image: Pixabay.com)
