The decline in traffic across the International Bridge was pegged at 21 per cent last month – with less than 138,000 one way crossings reported.   Year-to-date traffic is down by 20 per cent.  In September the commuter fare traffic showed the biggest decline at 26 per cent … and it doesn’t promice to get any better with both a currency correction and rejigging of the Prox Card comuter rates taking affect this month and making it even more expensive for the casual Canadian traveller.
