Early this morning City police staged a drug raid on a home in the downtown area – seizing an assortment of drugs including heroin, cocaine and pot – worth an estimated $3600 – leading to charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking against a 36 year old male … four others were arrested and charged with possession.

Police spotted an unidentified 24 year old male in the downtown area yesterday afternoon – wanted on several outstanding warrants – including a breakin to the Hound Pound at the Essar Centre in September.  When picked up he had flick knife in his possession, leading to additional charges.
