After years of struggling to get off the ground with their revolutionary technology that converts garbage to energy – Elementa Group is finally pulling the plug – having gone into receivership with more than $10 million in debts.  Sootoday.com  quotes the company’s Toronto lawyer as saying the company ‘ is not an operating business, has no current paid employees, has no ongoing revenue-generating operations, and has no realistic prospect of satisfying its debts.’   Among it’s list of creditors, is the lawyer himself whose owed close to $3 million. After operating a successful pilot project at the city landfill site, the company planned on buiuding a multi million dollar facility on city owned land on Base Line Road but never got started.
