SSMPoliceCity Police were called to a couple of breakins yesterday.  The first involved a quantity of jewelry taken from a home in the 900 block of Lake Street, the second incident occured at a home of Rush Avenue.  Nothing appeared to have been taken from there.  A third breakin happened at a business in the 100 block of Bruce Street.  Entry was gained through a rear window there and various items of vintage jewelry were stolen.

Police also reported a theft from a vehicle in the 800 block of Queen Street East overnight.  A large bag of hockey equipment was taken from that vehicle.
