SSMPoliceCity Police report more incidents from the weekend.  A residence in the 400 block of Northern Avenue was broken into sometime between last Thursday and yesterday.  It’s not known if anything was taken from there.

Officers also stopped a 16 year old male in the downtown area just after 1:30 last night.  Officers determined that the male had property that was stolen from a vehicle in the downtown area.  The male was charged with one count each of possession of property obtained by crime and theft under 5 thousand dollars and is scheduled to appear in court on March 1st.

Sault Police also charged a Sault Ste. Marie man after he refused to provide a breath sample during a RIDE check on Lyons Avenue and Farwell Terrace yesterday.  34 year old Dustin Middaugh faces a charge of one count of failing to provide a breath sample when he appears in court on February 29th.
