APHThe new home for Algoma Public Health in Elliot Lake is almost ready.  Public health board members received a presentation at Wednesday night’s meeting from APH East Algoma Program Manager Chris Spooney.  The office on the third floor of the ELNOS building will include cubicles for front line staff and two clinic spaces.  Work on the Elliot Lake location started in November — March 7th is when the new office is expected to open.

The Algoma Public Health Board of Directors had its elections for 2016 on Wednesday.  Lee Mason was elected to Board Chair with Ian Frazier acclaimed as Vice-Chair.  The group also selected the members for its Finance and Audit and Governance Standing committees.
