OPP    OPP have identified the two people killed in a weekend accident on highway 17 B in Garden River First Nation.  Police say the victims are from Bruce Mines and they are 56-year old Diane Long and 51-year old Kal Link.  They were killed when their car collided with a transport late Friday night.  The Transport driver was treated and released from hospital.  The highway was the scene of a demonstration yesterday as the highway entrance from the Sault was closed off.  Garden River residents were demonstrating their concerns over the amount of serious accidents through the community including one in October 2013 that took the life of 22-year old Jessie Roach.  Last week a court case wrapped up concerning the young man’s death and concluded the St. Joseph Island driver was not at fault.
