Early Morning Robbery at 2nd Line west Mac's Mart

   City police news release…
Just before 4:30 am the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service responded to a robbery at the Mac’s Mart located at 647 Second Line West.
A lone male attended in the store and demanded cash and cigarettes while holding a club.
The clerk complied with the demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes. The clerk was not physically harmed.
The accused fled the store on foot.  The suspect is described as a male, in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build.  He was wearing a camo jacket and may have been wearing a hat.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
