It was announced last month that Stana Katic was not being signed to the next season of Castle, leaving a lot of people wondering how you continue a show without one of the two co-stars. Nathan Fillion, who plays Castle, eventweeted he hoped the show would continue for years. But, no dice.

Next week’s season finale with be the final episode of Castle.

Agent Carter, Blood & Oil, The Family, and Galavant won’t be back next year either, along with Rookie Blue, Wicked City, and Of Kings and Prophets.

Fox is dumping Grandfathered, starring John Stamos, and The Grinder, starring Rob Lowe, along with Bordertown, Minority Report, and Cooper Barrett’s Guide to Surviving Life.

We have known for a while that CBS cancelled Mike & Molly. (In fact, we found out at almost the same time the cast did. Ouch.) And CSI: Cyber has been cancelled, ending the CSI dynasty. It’s the end of an era that spawned four different series over 16-years
