When red wine turns your teeth and mouth red it might be tempting to immediately reach for your toothbrush– but you shouldn’t.

Science has proven that brushing you choppers immediately after sipping wine can seriously damage tooth enamel. A study published in the journal Nutrition Research found that the acidity of wine can damage enamel and lead to “dental erosion.” A dental professor told BBC News, “Leaving time before brushing your teeth after drinking wine gives the enamel a chance to recover from the acid attack and makes it less susceptible to being brushed away.”…
Sounds like you might want to consider having your glass of wine an hour earlier than usual this evening.
