Toronto, ON – Mark-Ryan Vigneault of Sault Ste. Marie is celebrating after winning $75,904.20 from the June 25, 2016 LOTTO 6/49 draw.

“I enjoy playing LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX,” shared Mark-Ryan while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto where he picked up his cheque. “Usually, tickets from several draws will collect in my car before I actually check them.”

Mark-Ryan and his wife were driving home from a visit to Toronto when he decided to check his tickets. “I said to my wife, I better check my winning ticket before we go home. She probably rolled her eyes. When I finally stopped at the store and saw the amount, I asked the retailer to come over and verify what I was seeing was real because I thought I was hallucinating.”

Mark-Ryan returned to the car to share the good news with his wife. “She was overwhelmed with excitement and made plans to return to Toronto immediately.”

The couple is already planning a romantic vacation. “With this money, my wife and I are finally going on a honeymoon. We’ve been married for two years and we checked our ticket on July 4 which is our anniversary. We will be going anywhere my wife desires,” concluded Mark-Ryan.

Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, there has been a total of 3,363 LOTTO 6/49 draws with Ontario players having won more than $11.1 billion in prizes, including 1,326 jackpot wins. There have been 328 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws to date. One hundred and forty-two of the winning tickets have been sold in Ontario.
