news-cops   City police arrested a 41-year old man without incident yesterday afternoon in connection with a double-stabbing from a week ago in the area of Albet Street west and Cathcart Street.  Michael Turcotte has been charged with one count of assault, one count of threatening death and two counts with assault with a weapon.  In the incident its reported two men stepped in and confronted a man who assaulted a young boy by slapping him.  When confronted by the two men its reported that the accused stabbed them.  The pair were taken to Sault Area Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
