Chapleau Public School will be reopening today after being closed for one day following a threat made to the school Wednesday morning.  As the investigation is ongoing, a police presence will be maintained at the JK to grade 12 school to help ensure the safety and security of students and staff.  Also the school exterior doors will be locked so entry and exit from the building will be closely monitored through the front doors only.  Recesses will be held indoor and counsellors will be on hand at the school today.
