Eleven local skaters from the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club Shine in North Bay

Eleven local figure skaters represented the LSFSC at the MIAD figure skating competition which took place this past weekend in North Bay. The team brought home 20 top three finishes in the events competed. Skaters from LSFSC were very excited about their results from this past weekend siting several personal bests!

Kerry Bain, Director of Skating for the Lake Superior Figure Skating Club was happy with the weekend’s results. “”With Provincials three weeks away, this competition is a good trial run before we head to Port Colborne on March 17th-19th.  Our coaching team is very proud of the results from this past weekend in North Bay; our skaters have been working hard this season and now we are seeing the results.”
The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club has 9 skaters competing at the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships in March, with a few of them competing in multiple events. The Lake Superior Figure Skating Club Board of Directors would like to wish all of our skaters the best of Luck!!!
