Sault Ste. Marie, ON (2017 06 02) – With a vision to celebrate Canadians from coast to coast, SESQUI, an immersive mobile dome, will travel across the country in the Summer of 2017 celebrating Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation.
In preparation for its visit to Sault Ste. Marie, SESQUI is seeking volunteers from July 16 – 20, 2017 to lead groups through its mobile dome experience. SESQUI aims to engage millions of Canadians through its 360° cinematic experience, visual symphony and immersive content showcasing the best in Canadian creative expression, culture and innovation.
The responsibilities of volunteers include attending volunteer training, being available for a three hour shift, assistance in welcoming participants to the SESQUI Dome Village and giving guided tours through the Dome.
The exhibit will be free for all to attend and will be located in the parking lot at the corner of Bay St. and St. Mary’s River Drive.
