Power Outages

As of late last night, Algoma Power says there continued to be widespread power outages east of the Sault due to a major storm that passed through our area over the weekend.
All available Algoma Power crews as well as outside contractors were working until midnight.
Power may not be restored until today or later for many.

As of late yesterday afternoon, Cloverland Electric serving Michigan’s Eastern U.P says an estimated 23-hundred remained without power following the severe weather over the weekend.
It was hoped that most of the remaining outages would be dealt with by last night.  Some may not have their power restored for another day or two.
