Sault Ste. Marie, ON (Wednesday, September 27, 2017) – The Centre for Social Justice and Good Works (The ‘Centre’) is excited to announce the launch of our permanent recreation program, ‘I Love To Move’. This program is in partnership with Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart organization. Following the success of our ‘Go for Gold’ and ‘Lets Move’ recreation programs, the Centre has left a positive and lasting impact on the Sault’s youth community by providing over 150 kids with the opportunity to get active and have fun! The ‘I Love To Move’ recreation program is a permanent and free program on Saturday mornings from 10 am – 12 pm starting October 14th, 2017 in four locations – Queen Elizabeth Public School (139 Elizabeth Street), The Tech (130 Wellington Street E), Holy Family Catholic School (42 Rushmere Drive) and Rosedale Public School (90 Chapple Avenue).

We are actively recruiting volunteers to assist in creating positive change together in Sault Ste Marie. Volunteers are needed for the registration desk, food and beverage, and as recreation and activity leaders. This is a great learning experience and opportunity for anyone looking to get involved in the community and for students to fill their voluntary hours. If you love kids and enjoy sports, this is a perfect opportunity for you. Be a part of the team that gives back to the community! Volunteers are needed from 9:30 am – 12:00 pm for the following dates:
October 14th, 2017
October 21st, 2017
October 28th, 2017
