Mac Marcoux and guide Jack Leitch- IPC Crystal Globe Winner 2017 2018 Season

The opening ceremonies for the Paralympics were held earlier this morning in Pyeongchang, South Korea. Canada’s has 55 athletes that will be competing—the largest Paralympic team ever and they were led by Paralympic nordic star Brian McKeever.  Sault Ste. Marie’s Mac Marcoux enters the games with a lot of momentum coming off a very strong season in alpine skiing having been named the IPC Crystal Globe Champion for 2017-18. Marcoux will be looking for more Paralympic success as was the case four years ago in Russia where he picked up a gold and two bronze medals.
