The annual walk for ALS will take place tomorrow at the Roberta Bondar Park Pavilion.
Organizers are anticipating around 200 participants and last year just over 20-thousand dollars was raised.
The issue hits close to home for ALS Society of Canada Regional Manager Tracy Galizia who lost her father to the disease last year—-approximately 1-thousand Canadians are diagnosed with it each year and 80% of them die within 2 to 5 years.
She says Sharon Carson who was diagnosed with ALS 25-years ago will be leading the walk…

Registration for tomorrow’s walk is scheduled for 10 and the walk gets underway at 11.
