Shortly after 6 last evening the Sault Fire Services responded to a call regarding a dryer fire in the 100-block of McQueen Road.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire as there was extensive fire damage to the dryer located in the basement of the single storey bungalow and smoke was ventilated from the residence.
All at home at the time were able to get out safely.
The Sault Fire Service says there were no smoking alarms in the residence at the time of the incident—-no word on any charges at this point.

Sault fire crews were also called to a shed fire shortly after 10 last night in the 100-block of Manor Road.
The fire caused extensive damage to the shed and there were no injuries.
