Due to the extreme cold temperatures and for safety reasons, the area transportation consortium has cancelled school bus transportation for Central Algoma and the North Shore.
There will be school bus transportation here in Sault Ste. Marie.
Schools throughout the district are open.
The District School Boards also advise that school bus transportation is also cancelled for the north including Wawa, Chapleau, White River, Dubreuilville and Hornepayne.
