(BATCHEWANA FIRST NATION, ON) – On February 5, 2019 at approximately 9:30 p.m. members from the Batchewana Police Service, Sault Ste. Marie Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Sault Ste. Marie Police service (SSMPS) responded to a suspicious package call in Rankin Reserve, Batchewana First Nation,Ontario.

The suspicious package was removed by the Sault Ste. Marie City Police Service Explosive Disposal Unit without incident.

The investigation is still on going.
