Prime Minister Trudeau joining workers at Algoma Steel at the plant for breakfast

 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had a chance to recognize local efforts in having stiff US tariffs on Canadian steel lifted during a visit to Algoma Steel this morning.
The PM was joined by local MP Terry Sheehan to shake hands and meet with local steelworkers and executives at the plant which gave him a chance to promote the new Northern American Free Trade deal which still needs to be ratified and celebrate the lifting of the tariffs which has cost Algoma around 300-million dollars over the past year.
Prime Minister Trudeau thanked the efforts of Sheehan and recognized the efforts locally while addressing steel workers at the Direct Strip Production Complex at the plant…
