SAULT STE. MARIE – Be sure to join us at St. Vincent Place this Monday at 6:30pm to help us launch the
event that makes it FUN to be cold – the Coldest Night of the Year!
At this year’s CNOY Launch Party, you’ll be able to hear Dave Mornix share his story about how St.
Vincent Place helped him. Dave spent time at our shelter a few years ago, and today is working and
actively involved in the community, sitting on several committees and Boards of Directors – including at
St. Vincent Place.
You can also listen to our Honourary Chair, Ward 2 City Councillor Luke Dufour, share his experiences
volunteering in the soup kitchen here at St. Vincent Place over the last several years.
The CNOY Launch Party is a great opportunity to learn more about CNOY itself – what it is, why you
should get involved, and how it helps St. Vincent Place give hope to the hungry and homeless of Sault
Ste. Marie. Oh – and to enjoy some delicious CNOY-themed sweet treats! We’ll have some amazing
cookies from Anna’s Baking, and delicious cupcakes and cinnamon buns from Thyne’s Family Bakery.
If you can’t make it to the party, but want more information on CNOY or are ready to sign up, you can
head to cnoy.org/saultstemarie to enter your team, join an existing one, donate to a walker, or sign up
as a volunteer. You can also contact Sara at vincentplacepr@shaw.ca or 705-253-2770 ext. 4 if you have
any questions.
