Head to a local second hand store, pick up a flowery blouse for your Carole, choose a snazzy button up for your Joe, and accessorize with stuffed lion (or live house cat, we don’t judge!)

Listen, 2020 may be a dumpster fire, but we’re making the most of it. Bus Stop Costumes may be cancelled since we’re not in school, but that won’t stop us from #DistanceLearningCostumes. I do a little dance on my daughters’ Zoom calls in costume while walking across the screen, and while it may not be the same this year, it still makes them laugh. One teacher remarked, “Is that what your mom does in her spare time?” Sir, are you new here? And if you’re new here, get ready for some costume fun this month. I don’t know how often I’ll be able to do it, but I’ll try at least 2-3 times a week. And I take requests. This one’s for @asthebunnyhops. So let’s put out some of these fires, and also a reminder to vote!

To say 2020 has been a Dumpster Fire of a year is probably an understatement, but this costume doesn’t leave anything unstated! Paint your cardboard box like a typical dumpster, add cutout flames and garbage bags and voila; you are a walking visualization of the year 2020!
