The annual Water Tower Inn Big Cup Scramble raised some much needed funds for The United Way of Sault Ste. Marie & Algoma when the community teed off at the Sault Ste. Marie Golf Club earlier this month.

Through donations, the yearly event raised more than $52,000 for Harvest Algoma says Client & Donor Services Coordinator at The United Way SSMA, Darcee McCaig.

McCaig adds ‘this will help us ensure that members of our community are moving from poverty to possibility.’

Jamie Hilsinger of The Water Tower Inn joined Casey In The Afternoon to chat about the success of this year’s tournament.
