Look to the sky this weekend, and you will be amazed at a rare sight!
A ‘Blood Moon’ total lunar eclipse is expected to take place this Sunday night, as the moon will appear blood red as it passes the Earth’s shadow as our planet blocks the sunlight.
The event, which experts are calling the ‘best-timed blood moon in a century,’ is expected to start around 9:30 p.m. EST but will be on full display around 10:27 p.m.
The whole eclipse will last about 85 minutes and around 2.7 billion people will be able to catch the moon turn a coppery red.
