SAULT STE. MARIE ON, October 14, 2015- Batchewana First Nation will be hosting a Rally The First Nations Vote event tomorrow evening (Thursday, October 14, 2015) at 6pm at the Rankin Arena (Thunderbird Room).

The event is intended to educate and inform Batchewana First Nation citizens about the Federal Election process and why they’re involvement is crucial.

It is estimated that within the Robinson Huron Treaty area (including 21 First Nation communities, the Métis population, and the Urban Indigenous population) there are over 20, 000 eligible Aboriginal voters.

Rally The First Nations Vote is working to organize and register as many of those voters as possible, to form a bloc of votes that will be delivered to the one party who will best represent First Nations interests.
