City police report that early last evening officers located the body of a missing man in the South East area of the Root River Golf Course.
Police say foul play is not suspected and the investigation continues along with the Coroners Office.
Police had been responding to a missing person report yesterday morning regarding a 51-year old Sault Ste. Marie man in the area of the golf course.
The golf course was closed yesterday while police conducted the search.
