SportsThe Soo Thunderbirds opened their NOJHL season with a 5-2 victory over the Soo Eagles last night. Caleb Boman led the Thunderbirds with a goal and an assist.  Darian Pilon added three assists in the victory.

Despite two victories in doubles, the Lake State men’s tennis team fell 6-3 to Davenport yesterday.  The Lakers will attempt to rebound with matches against Cornerstone and Aquinas today in Grand Rapids.
