We’ve already received more than 30 centimetres of snow above what the Sault would normally receive in an average winter with roughly another six weeks to go of potential snowfall.
The Sault has received 354.5 centimetres of snow to date according to Environment Canada with more than 107 centimetres of it falling in February alone—-more than twice above the monthly average.
We were hit early with snow with more than 95 centimetres in November.
As of yesterday, Environment Canada reports there was 90 centimetres of snow on the ground which is equal to 3 feet.
