SSMPSCity Police are reminding people to secure their residences even when they are home.  The advice comes after a pair of breakins early Monday.  Officers were called around 7:30 in the morning to Central Street for a break and enter.  According to police, the break in happened sometime overnight.  A Wii game system was taken as well as a Nikon camera were taken from there.  A second incident happened between 10:30 and 11 o’clock when a robber entered a residence in the 600 block of Pine Street while the homeowners were in the back yard.  Cash, jewellery and a Canadian Tire gift card were stolen after several drawers in the home were went through and dumped.  The homeowners discovered the break and enter when they went back inside.  Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious regarding this particular break and enter.
