The Lake Superior State Hockey Lakers are ranked 6th in the WCHA according to the Preseason Coaches’ poll.
The Lakers finished just a point behind 5th ranked Michigan Tech in voting.
Defending WCHA regular-season and playoff champion Minnesota State is ranked number one.
