SSMPSTwo men made court appearances on Monday.  25 year old James Bolan was charged with two counts of breach of probation.  The accused turned himself in on an outstanding warrant — it’s alleged that the accused did not change his address and failed to report to police when ordered to do so.  19 year old Simon Barnes was arrested at the courthouse on an outstanding warrant for breach of recognizance.  It’s alleged that the accused breached the order earlier this month by being out past his curfew.

City Police responded to a shoplifting call at Rome’s Grocers on Monday.  It’s alleged that a male hid groceries on his person and left the story without paying.  Police charged the accused with theft under 5 thousand dollars.  64 year old Douglas Watson is scheduled to appear in court on July 27th.
